The Bagnell Dam Strip Association, a not-for-profit 501 c# community based corporation, is leading the effort to develop a solid comprhensive long-range plan for the revitalization of the historic Lake Ozark downtown.

The CAMDEN COUNTY CHILD ADVOCACY COUNCIL provides support to area schools, Children's Division, Family Support Division, Foster Parents, and individuals and families referred by various community agencies. Some of our programs they provide throughout the year are Christmas is Sharing, Arts in the Park, Coats for Kids, Lice Treatment Program, Emergency Dental for Children, Scholarships for graduating Seniors of Horizons/Alternative Schools in the Camdenton School District, Miscellaneous Grants to individual needy children for things such as sending an autisitc child to summer camp, new eye glasses for children, or to buy new clothing for children when the Thrift Store does not have their correct size in stock. Clothing and household items are also provided to those in need when referred to by Family Support Division, Children's Division or a civic organization.
Meetings are held at 6:30 PM, the 3rd Tuesday of month at Mid County FPD, 184 State Hwy 5, Camdenton. The Thift Store is open Tues-Sat, 10am-2pm at 77 Dawson Rd., Camdenton, MO. Volunteers are always welcome.

Kid's Harbor provides a safe environment for children who may be victims of any kind of abuse. They provide an atmosphere of calm while working with professionals to meet the child's needs emotionally, medically and legally with evaluation, treatment, prevention and prosecution of child abuse in a child-friendly atmosphere.

We are dedicated to nurturing the arts at the Lake of the Ozarks. We function as an umbrella over ten independent arts organizations, and in our own right, bring performing groups to the area and sponsor programs that help develop artistic talents in our youth.

LACGC is a non-profit organization and was formed to support and promote local, independent agricultural production and distribution in the Lake of the Ozarks Area, including Camden, Miller, and Morgan counties.
Membership includes a number of business, civic, government, and charitable organizations.

Share the Harvest Food Pantry provides food for people in need in the Lake of the Ozarks area Government guidelines are used to qualify people. The Water Safety Council of Lake of the Ozarks is a not-for-profit public service organization formed to promote boating and water safety at the Lake of the Ozarks while working closely with the US Coast Guard Auxilary.

Westlake Aquatic Center is an indoor pool open to the public year round. The mini-olympic size pool houses 4 lap lanes and ranges in depth from 3 ft to 9 ft with water temperatures at 85 to 87 degrees daily. The pool offers daily water aerobic classes, lap swims, as well as wellness and open swim times. Swim lessons are available.
